Dan Chiorean joined the law firm of Odom & Des Roches, LLC in March, 2014.

Mr. Chiorean was born in Romania, and immigrated to the United States as a young child. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where he served as member of the Moot Court Board and won the 2011 Louisiana State Bar Association Trial Competition.

Prior to studying law, Mr. Chiorean gained valuable experience as a Program Manager and Senior Project Manager in the automotive interiors industry as well as the interactive digital marketing industry, where he worked with some of the world's biggest brands in developing complex multinational interactive marketing initiatives.

After law school, Mr. Chiorean practiced civil and criminal defense litigation, and served as part of the defense trial team representing former NOPD officer David Warren in the Katrina-related shooting case, United States v. David Warren, et al. After successfully reversing a prior conviction on appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Mr. Chiorean, as part of the trial team, obtained a Not Guilty verdict in the highly publicized retrial in December, 2013.

Since joining Odom and Des Roches, Mr. Chiorean has been actively involved in the firm's antitrust class action practice in the pharmaceutical industry.

Outside of work, Mr. Chiorean donates his time to several nonprofit organizations, including, and serves on the executive leadership team of the University of Michigan Alumni Association's New Orleans chapter.

Mr. Chiorean is admitted to practice in the Louisiana Supreme Court and the several courts of the state of Louisiana. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Mr. Chiorean is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association.
